TOP 10 MOST BEAUTIFUL TOWNS IN MEXICO YOU DID NOT KNOW EXISTED

Hi!

Would you like to know where you can travel and get the best photography in Mexico?

Mexico has beautiful beaches in the caribbean, no questions about it, but there are also beautiful towns called "PUEBLOS MAGICOS" magical towns that preserve culture, tradition and the most beautiful colonial architecture. Colonial towns are so amazing and great to take instagram pictures.

Here are my top 10 PUEBLOS MAGICOS IN MEXICO. I´ve travelled all of the them. Most of them are not far from Mexico City. There are a lot of Airbnb options you can use for your stay.

# 10. San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas
1 hr. away from Tuxtla Gutierrez´s international Airport by car. it is one of the most popular and historic towns in Chiapas Mexico and probably the country´s favorites. Good pictures and food is guaranteed!

# 9. Mazamitla, Jalisco
2 hours away from Guadalajara Mexico you have Mazamitla. Colorful, colonial and cabins in Mazamitla are a perfect place to find peace in the forest and the catedral is japanese inspired and spectacular.

# 8. Holbox, Quintana Roo
One of the last towns I visited. It is a perfect combination of nature and authenticity. The island is located 2 hours away from Cancun. It is a town with streets made of sand, its walls are full of local arts and you move with golf cars only.

# 7. Atlixco, Puebla
Beautiful colonial town. Full name is "Atlixco de las Flores" something like Atlixco of flowers. The best time to visit Atlixco is in spring when the flowers are blooming.

# 6. Bernal, Querétaro
Not far from Queretaro city. I found this town quiet and impressive. There is a famous monolite behind the town. The view is amazing!

# 5. Tequisquiapan, Querétaro
Yes! this beautiful town has a pink church and there are flowers everywhere. It is one hour from Queretaro city. On Wednesday the aerostatic balloons are 2x1.

# 4. Campeche, Campeche
It is a long road trip from Cancun, but it is closer from Merida´s Yucatan International Airport. This town is particularly one of my favorites. It is one of the UNESCO world heritage places in Mexico.

# 3. Zacatlán, Puebla
Colonial town with this beautiful a prehispanic wall. There are waterfalls and is very popular because of the apple harvest.

# 2. Tepoztlán, Morelos
Town is based on the foot of mountains. There is a pyramid on the top of a clift. After 2 hours climbing the view is breathtaking.

# 1. Taxco, Guerrero
I will drive to get the town again. The most underrated town in Mexico is the most beautiful. The tow itself is everything you expect Mexico to be, plus a visit of the blue waterfalls and natural pools near by make it an absolute must to visit.

2020 has brought very hard times in general. Travel right now is not the first option, but when travel gets back to normal these are the most beautiful towns in Mexico you didnt  know existed. All towns listed are not far from big cities in Mexico and its very safe for driving. There are also many transportation companies available specially from Mexico city, Puebla, Querétaro and Cancun.

I have the pleasure to work with Geraldinesgram . We have been traveling for Mexico last year. For more details and recommendations please Share, follow us and subscribe.
